Web Design Sun is a software development company founded in 2012. We have been fully remote since day one, building international products in Web & Cloud Applications, SaaS, CRM/ERP, and E-commerce domains. We collaborate with clients from the US and Europe and consistently rank highly on Clutch, GoodFirms, and Upwork. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise and strong engineering fundamentals. This role is focused on designing, scaling, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code, reliability, and real-world architectural decision-making. Requirements: Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture Strong understanding of System Design, Distributed Systems, High-load architectures, and trade-offs in infrastructure decisions Solid theoretical foundation in ACID / BASE and CAP / PACELC (especially in infrastructure & database context) Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) Experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD Python for automation and scripting English - B1+ Nice to have: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) Experience with Docker and containerized environments Responsibilities: Design and manage AWS-based infrastructure Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines Support and improve high-load distributed systems Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of infrastructure Collaborate closely with backend and product teams Proactively improve infrastructure, tooling, and engineering processes What We Value: Engineers who actively learn and explore beyond work tasks Strong problem-solving depth and attention to detail Proactive mindset and ownership of infrastructure We offer: Full-time remote position Flexible schedule focused on results (with expectation of availability in critical situations) Compensation: $3500–6000/month ($22–37/hour) Opportunity for additional paid hours 20 paid vacation days and 5 paid sick leave days Opportunity to influence infrastructure decisions and technical processes Hiring Process: Recruiter screening Technical interview (1–2 hours) with the Head of Product Engineering Offer We are a mature team that values expertise, meaningful communication, and ownership of results.
