About the vacancy

Timezone: CET

English: Upper-Intermediate

Responsibilities

  • Work with PostgreSQL and Azure infrastructure.
  • Perform query tuning, indexing and performance optimization.
  • Manage PgBouncer and connection pooling.
  • Handle backups and point-in-time recovery.
  • Work on capacity planning and sharding.
  • Work with Azure Database for PostgreSQL.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Docker, Azure Container Registry, Azure Container Apps and/or AKS.
  • Experience with Azure VNets, Private Endpoints, Key Vault and Entra ID/RBAC.
  • Experience with Terraform, OpenTofu or Terragrunt.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
  • Bash and Python.

Nice to have:

  • pgvector
  • Experience with Drizzle ORM / Drizzle Kit
  • psql, pgAdmin or DBeaver
